Cutlery of No Use (working title) explores the relationship between function, value and expectation through ceramic cutlery. Each object resembles a familiar utensil, yet resists its intended use.
Rather than existing as broken or failed tools, the works question the assumptions embedded in everyday objects:
Who decides what a spoon is for?
When does an object cease to be useful?
And can something that no longer fulfils its original purpose acquire a different kind of value?

The series considers utility not as a fixed quality, but as something shaped by context and perspective. By shifting the function of ordinary objects, the works invite alternative ways of seeing, using and relating.
